Louisville’s newest cultural arts festival.
Aflora is more than an art festival. It is a celebration of creativity, Latinx culture, community, entrepreneurship, music and belonging.
After five years of presenting the Aflora Art Exhibition in some of Louisville’s most recognized cultural institutions, Aflora enters a new chapter: a full festival created with Kentucky Performing Arts at Old Forester’s Paristown Hall.
Come meet local artists, hear live music, learn new rhythms, shop from makers, share food and experience Paristown through the art and stories of la comunidad Latina.

LOCAL ARTISTS
A weeklong curated exhibition featuring original work by Latinx artists from the Kentuckiana region.
LIVE PERFORMANCES
Traditional and contemporary Latin American dance, local musicians, DJs and a professional stage experience.
MAKERS + FOOD
Shop original art and handmade goods, meet local businesses, and discover food vendors from across the community.
HANDS-ON WORKSHOPS
Dance, craft and art experiences designed for families, first-timers and lifelong creators alike.
COMMUNITY RESOURCES

CUMBIA NIGHT
Close the festival with a community rhythm workshop by Tumbao and a free live concert by YAPA!

Enjoy an afternoon of live and acoustic music, cultural dance performances, and DJ entertainment celebrating the diversity and vibrancy of Latin America.

COMMUNITY SALSA EXPERIENCE WITH TUMBAO
Join an interactive salsa class open to dancers of all experience levels.
7:00–8:00 PM
CLOSING CONCERT WITH YAPA!
Close the celebration with Cumbia Night and concert featuring YAPA
at Old Forester’s Paristown Hall.
